Heaven On Earth: Experiencing the Kingdom of God In the Here and Now is popularly written and aimed at an audience of informed laypeople, theological students, and pastors. In it, I present the Kingdom of God as the grand narrative of the Bible (from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22) and cover a variety of subjects, including the eschatological giving of the Holy Spirit, baptism as a pledge of allegiance to King Jesus, kingdom ethics, hearing the voice of God, biblical healings and exorcisms as enacted prophecies/parables of the kingdom, non-violent resistance to evil, American flags in the pulpit, the church as an embassy of the kingdom, the Lords Supper as a proleptic kingdom meal, and what it means to be a kingdom-focused church.

New Testament scholar Peter Davids has this to say about the book:

At the end of the work one wants to stand and sing the Hallelujah Chorus.
